Youth Programs
Our farm is a learning environment for visitors, volunteers, and community members of all ages. They gain hands on education experiences while helping us grow a variety of produce.
We offer educational opportunities to community members and veterans on gardening, as well as operating and managing urban and small scale farms. Our healthy lifestyle classes include food preservation and healthy cooking alternatives. We want all participants to experience the impressive level of professionalism when attending programs with Hampton Roads Urban Agriculture.
We are working to launch our Drones in Agriculture Program for at-risk youth as a way to expose them to careers in agriculture, STEM, & healthy eating. We will also launch our Youth Urban Agriculture Club and Entrepreneurship Program.
